STAINEX is a 15% highly active stabilized liquid sodium hypochlorite (chlorine) bleach that removes stains and disinfects when used as directed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The product is a safe choice for commercial and institutional needs.
Performance
STAINEX reactivates the carryover soap in the bleach operation, kills bacteria in the wash operation, and serves to whiten wash as it removes stains.
Advantages
• Double action: the product simultaneously bleaches and strips out lime and acid soaps to restore fabrics to sparkling whiteness.
• Infinitely soluble: the product provides a uniform rate of chlorine release for stain removal without adversely affecting tender fabrics.
• Limits carryover in the sour bath.
• Works well in water temperatures as low as 135ºF.
• Unsurpassed for concentration effectiveness.
• Ideal for automatic feeding equipment that feeds directly from the container.
Directions
• Light to medium soil: Use 1½–4 ounces per 100 pounds of wash at 135ºF–145ºF.
• Heavy soil: Use 8–10 ounces per 100 pounds of wash at 135ºF–145ºF.
• Rejected stains and mildewed linen: Use 10–12 ounces per 100 pounds of wash at 160°F. Run the bleach bath for at least 15 minutes.
Handling
STAINEX is slightly alkaline and corrosive. Use standard precautions while handling. Do not take it internally. If liquid gets in eyes, flush with plenty of water for 15–20 minutes and get medical attention.
Packaging
STAINEX is available in 2.5-, 5-, 15-, 30-, 55-, and 275-gallon containers.
